How To Care For Your Jewelry
- While sterling silver is a super durable and all-around great material for jewelry, it does tarnish. This does not mean your jewelry is dirty; tarnish is a chemical reaction the metal has to the air. Use a polish cloth whenever you think your jewelry needs a little extra shine.
- Remove jewelry during strenuous physical activity (swimming, gardening, crossfit, etc.)
- Avoid wearing your jewelry when coming in contact with chemicals including lotions, soaps, peroxide, etc.
- Use smooth polishing cloths when cleaning your jewelry, avoid abrasive materials such as bath towels and t-shirts.
Bottom line, if properly cared for, your jewelry will last years and years.
